When I pondered what subject I should write on for the tenth anniversary of this website, I considered all that has happened in the last 10 years concerning the discoveries. All I had to do was look at the list of subjects under "Discovery News" at the home page and rejoice. The list is long. National Geographic, which had long ignored the Durupinar (Noah's Ark) site and has such a great stake in a secular view, finally felt it necessary to go to the site and try to disprove. Academics such as Dr. Lennart Moller, Dr. Glen Fritz and Robert Michelson have done wonderful works and presentations concerning discoveries evidence. Many others who have been promoting the Discoveries for many years are freely sharing their own personal resources for lab analysis and presentation and have links from this website. Danny and Ronnie Wyatt have shared their experiences finally exposing those who had attributed false statements to them. YouTube is now full of Discoveries information including the first interview with Ron Wyatt I watched and was able to purchase the video tape in 1988. In 2002 I had the rare opportunity to visit Turkey and spend several days exploring the remains of Noah's Ark and artifacts in the surrounding the area. And, I could on and on. Praise the Lord! Of course you can't go ten years without hearing from the accusers, the detractors or those with their own private interpretations. There are many who believe the narrative of the Bible to be allegory, scientifically impossible or just plain the words of men. The Bible is God breathed just as His universe. All power and creation are His and come from Him and no one can confine any portion of that to their own or any other created intellect. What greater confidence is there than to put all trust in Him and His simple and clear word. This website will always promote God's word over any other. How can we not believe Him when through the Psalms He tells us, "Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression." (Pss.19:13) Technologically, it's amazing what has happened in 10 years. In 2000 I went to the library and checked out "HTML for Kids" with lots of pictures and text I could understand. I know my first efforts reflected the book title well. My first html editor download had a trojan virus which crashed my computer. Do you remember downloads before DSL? You would start the download and come back every hour to check on it. I've been through many crashes and about four computers. Some before I learned about backup. And then it was on three and a half inch disks. Fortunately a website is it's own best backup. Our home was broken into twice. During the first robbery, those folks took most of my early discovery videos. That is why it took so long to recover a copy of that original 1988 interview with Ron. I always wonder who the Lord provided those for and how many those tapes may have been a witness to. I want to take this opportunity to thank all those who have contributed their efforts, shared their information, been an encouragement and communicated for better or worse over the years. I am very grateful for all their generosity. Most of all I'm grateful to my special wife who, while being my most honest critic, has always supported the finances and effort required. After ten years, I continue to feel the same as Ron used to describe; just the privilege to be involved with these things has been and continues to be inspiring and humbling.
