Frequently Asked Questions

What are the Discoveries?

"The discoveries," as the term is used at this website, are archaeological sites or remains of events from the narrative of the Bible. While the location of these sites may have previously been the subject of explorations or research, either ancient or modern, the existence of these sites and remains were recently brought to the attention of the world through the initiation of Ronald E. Wyatt. Additional parties have participated with, contributed to and added to the evidence for these discoveries. Some have also made additional new finds further substantiating the discoveries. All of these discoveries are the subjects of this website and considered revelations for the latter times from the Lord as ensamples to the world. They are His ensamples (visible examples) provided for the lost who, as did doubting Thomas, require proof, for His chosen nation of Israel to remind of their past deliverence and confirm His everlasting promises and for His Church to return to the purity of His Word and expel the added teachings for doctrines the commandments of men.

(Ron Wyatt who investigated, researched and presented the major archaeological discoveries documented at this website passed away in 1999.) The intent of this website is not to glorify Ron Wyatt. The only logical conclusion, through study of the documented facts of the timelines of his presentations of the discoveries, is that the Sovereign Lord used Ron for His purpose and that He is now using others for that same purpose.

Why aren't the discoveries on television and in the news?

The discoveries are in the news and media on a sporadic basis.  As more evidence comes out for the discoveries, more attempts to diffuse the evidence are presented. In case you haven't noticed, the media around the world is the deceiver's domain and he controls it by his emissaries. Whenever, one of the discoveries is featured in some way in media there immediately is a host of counterfeits, distracters and so called "experts" implanted and projected to quell any enthusiasm or continued interest. A recent example of this is National Geographic's presentation on the Durupinar site of the remains of Noah's Ark.
The National Geographic Channel television special, "The Truth Behind The Ark." cannot now be found as originally released, but a revised version can be viewed at YouTube.
Our review of the original version and later exposed examples of evidence conveniently left on the cutting room floor may give the reasons for the revisions.

What about the websites that say the discovery of Noah's Ark and the other discoveries are not true?

Actually there are very few original sources that attempt documentation against the discoveries. The rest quote those few and rely on them for their information. Those original few can be discerned by their very strong motive to discourage. Secular skeptics, of course, will always attack any Biblical proof of their inevitable accountability. The scientific credentialed will state what they think God can or cannot do based on their field of expertise. The archaeological community has agenda concerns with large investment in past projections resulting in pride issues and/or financial apprehension. Those with cultic doctrines such as Universalism attack any literal proof of Biblical judgment or need for repentance. And the discouraging evangelicals can't face the possibility of God using anyone or anything outside of their denominational domains.

What about those that attack Ron Wyatt personally?

Ron was a much easier and distracting target than the evidence, as we all would be. He found out early on that he could not trust just anyone who presented themselves as allied in motive. Many with the "religious credentials" came to him with hidden agendas of fame and fortune that were not easily discernable. When their hidden designs were exposed they retaliated against Ron attacking his integrity. And while those accusations are easily disproven, they linger unretracted.

Why do I need Noah Ark or any of the other discoveries?   Isn't it better to just have faith?

It is wonderful to have faith! Jesus said, "Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." However, this was after Jesus showed Thomas the proof he had asked for. Thomas had stated, "Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe." Hopefully your life is a great witness and you are able to share your faith effectively. However God, in His longsuffering and unwillingness that any should perish, has provided the proof of His Word that many of us need to show relatives, friends and neighbors more than just what we believe. We live in a day of great deception and distraction and these discoveries are powerful tools to start dialogs that inevitably lead to the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
